Poorly designed wall lights

Does anyone else find that more often than not, no consideration seems to be given in wall light fittings for allowing two cables to fit in properly? Been fitting some led bulkhead type fittings and you'd barely get one t&e into the cable entry let alone the 2 x 3core cables required (emg fittings). 'fancy' bathroom wall lights are often even worse, when they come with those tiny terminal block connectors and rubber sleeve bits!! Frustratingly poor design in my opinion. Grumble over.

Even still... try and get two 1.5mm2 T&Es into these terminals, no chance.

1.5mm2, you extravagant anti-environmental bandit.

1.00mm2 is so much more ecologically sound.

I nearly always kick it over, in the middle of the night, the bowl that is.

As an idea, often I install a round drywall Pattress in ceiling as a place to hold wago’s with the fitting mounted over the top makes for easier install.

Why use 1.5mm in domestic when 1.0mm is normally adequate for a 6A circuit?
