Although I have no definitive recollection of reading the following, I believe the option to add a personal avatar was removed after the DDOS attack, when the website boosted its defences. Certainly, you didn't formerly need to be in The Arms.

Or, I could have dreamed up the above, I do have a bad habit of reading the forum after a good session in the pub.

It's sometimes the only way to cope with all the tripping RCDs, sheds needing wiring, PIR operated Security Lights etc. etc. .......
