Does anyone know what brands make downlights wit push fit connections? looking for speed when it comes to fitting them 2 x 1.0mm cables. Fire rated down lights not integrated fittings. Cheers

If using Collingwood fittings at ÂŁ27 a pop that's ÂŁ18900 on downlights compared to around ÂŁ6500 with cans and lamps. Are they that much better to warrant a ÂŁ12400 price difference? I doubt it.
I started using Ansell I-cage about a year ago after recommendations on here (I must be mis-remembering given that you haven't tried them yet but I had it in my head that you were one of the people recommending them). They are great value for money (I get the IP20s for just over ÂŁ5 and the IP65s for just under ÂŁ7 inc VAT) and have fairly decent terminals (for downlights at least). I've tried a few other brands but the build quality just wasn't the same, however this thread has made me think about maybe trying some that have push-fit terminals...The last few jobs Ive been using aurora enlite cans but the terminal space etc is rubbish. As suggested earlier I'm going to try Ansell Icage downlights, the terminal cover looks a decent size.Im pricing 14 4bed detached houses atm and that would equate to 7K extra!
