What PVC Conduit size would best for 1.5mm SWA 3 Core? As I need to run some inside conduit.

Echo?

You wont get an SWA through an inspection bend. No way.

could you terminate the swa at the start of the conduit and just run the cores through the pipe?

I’ve not tried it before, that sounds like a good idea. I’m using a 208 or 308 wiska box at the end of the fascia. Then run down the wall onto the fence. I did think NYY but you would need 2.5mm. As I’ve done my cable calculations based on demand and diversity and need something that 23/24 amp.

The beauty of drilling a hole and pushing the clips in is that you don't get the "bounce" you get when trying to hammer a standard cable clip in, so no stress on the surface to which you are fixing if its a flexible surface, like a wooden batten between rafters etc. or a plastic soffit.
FYI, Linian have just published their new catalogue which gives a sizing guide which is very useful. Obviously, the 2.5 T&E clips are just what they say, but there are size guides for all types of cable, and a choice of colours and galvanised too.

Cable support must not be prone to premature collapse in the event of a fire. Regulations do not discriminate between internal and external.
I only fit white metal saddles now. They are 23p each and there is no reason at all these days to mix and match and I’ve 2 different looking saddles along a run.
Love the look of those d line things aswell might have a go at them.

Thanks for the help and suggestions. I will order the 1.5mm SWA and some Cleats. I’ve used the Linian Clips in work when doing Fire Alarms they are good. I will price up the ones for SWA to see how much they are compared to Cleats as they may look neater.

Is there any other suitable cable that I could use that is black and can be run outside?

Such as these clips: 12 to 14mm Super Clip Black (Sold in 1's) - https://www.cef.co.uk/catalogue/products/4799647-12-to-14mm-super-clip-black-sold-in-1-s

i would wire in singles in 20mm conduit around the house and take to a junction box then SWA out from there,
but thats not really the answer to your question. 20mm should be fine depending on bends...

good luck
