Discuss R1+r2 test in the Periodic Inspection Reporting & Certification area at ElectriciansForums.net

Hi Guys i have traced the fault back to the first socket, the cpc between the cu and the first socket is broken so i need to find the break. The bathroom rad was sup bonded to a socket on this circuit so i guess i got a reading via the water pipe.Does that make sense?
Cheers

Haj
For info, no problem with Sup bonding to a socket to get an earth. It's a common way of bringing R1 R2 down by having as many parallel paths to reduce the resistance.

I am correct ?
