......Rooftop gardens spring to mind, It's also possible to have a swimming pool on the 12th floor of a building! Just saying.

Sounds to me like someone is a bit stuck in the 16th edition.

RCDs were only required for general use sockets if they were able to be used for outdoors.

He's going to need a bloody heavy extension lead to overcome the volt drop,12 floors down to hoover his car,getting 2.5 flex into a plug top is going to be a nightmare.lol

Ohhh thats easy! Even seen 2.5mm cable in a 13a plug top! If you think it...Then it can be done! lol

Duraplug. 13 A plugs are designed for 2.5mm flex.

If you need bigger make a 13A to 16A commando adaptor, then a 16A lead with a 16 to 13 adaptor at the other end.
