He's going to need a bloody heavy extension lead to overcome the volt drop,12 floors down to hoover his car,getting 2.5 flex into a plug top is going to be a nightmare.lol

No need for a heavy cable. Just order a 110V tool and plug it straight in! :biggrin:

Just a quickie lol. Can you verify that you do not need to install a RCD in a flat on the 12th floor of a hi rise block.. Thanks guys


It all depends whether the wiring is enclosed in earthed metallic conduit, MICC, SWA or equivalent, or otherwise mechanically protected, and not supplying equipment or accessories in a room containing a bath or a shower. Only the designer (you?) can decide.
