Hi Guys,
Not much response to my earlier query.Does anybody know if the original MCB has to be replaced with a RCD or RCBO when installing a cooker/hob but using the existing cooker point.The existing board is full so that there is a single way available where the existing MCB is situated.This MCB is rated at 40amp,I only need 30.Thanks in advance

if swapping one cooker for another you can leave the mcb in if you alter the circuit you will need to fit rcd/rcbo
