Hi Guys,

I'm a non-electrician building rear and side extensions. I took my part-p because I thought it would help, and it did. Fantastic.

I'm already getting great advice here, so I'll check back regularly.

Im still confused by these courses....

So providing the OP can pass a scheme assessment that would put them "Domestic installer" category as defined by what i read on the IET website.

Although of course, many like to call themselves electricains ;)

According to some you just need the 17th to be called an electrician
