I've got the Milwaukee 18v SDS... Nowt special IMO.. I previously had Hilti and sold it on this site... mistake!
If I was buying again, it would be Hilti without question.

have you tried any other brands and what made you sell the hilti?

sounds good what model is that, not keen on grinders they choke me to death and the dust is just nuts

pfft!! if you think Dust from a grinder is bad you should see what I have to put up with using one of these baby's especially when chasing out Cable runs in the ceiling :p

Arbortech AS170 Brick + Mortar Saw - YouTube

the good thing is they cut very quick & deep so I prefer to use them over the Hilti/makita chase machines we got on the job.

Milwaukee 18 volt for me better and more powerful than the 24 volt Hitachi, push indicators on the batteries showing how much charge they have ,cracking tools

I rate metabo Sds corded and cordless.
ive had the Bosch gbh24 and the gbh 36v which were both good
the 36v is pricy though
hilti is good also but again a tad pricy

Yes I've had all sorts, if you search the "for sale" section, you will see that I feature a fair bit, I'm a tool fanatic, but often chopping and changing... I'm on Milwaukee at present as the mrs is from Texas so we go their often & Milwaukee tools are a fair bit cheaper than here..

Iv the 18v HD combi drill, impactor, 18v sawzil, 18v sds & 18v skilly, the impactor has a problem with the trigger & the combi drill chuck is seized.

I sold the hilti stuff ( except the 110v sds) as I thought Milwaukee matched Hilti's build quality, but thats not the case IMHO.
