Will new MK Honeywell RCBOs fit onto the din rail of a MK consumer unit.
See attached pics of the existing consumer unit.
I have been asked to replace this consumer unit with a new dual RCD unit as the existing unit has no RCDs fitted. However because it looks like the consumer unit was installed and then the cupboard fitted around it, it would be very difficult to replace. The other option would be to keep the consumer unit but replace the MCBs with RCBOs. A wholesaler has quoted around ÂŁ30 per MK RCBO but I have seen online RCBOs by Honywell MK
( Honeywell are the owners of MK) for around ÂŁ13. Does anyone know if these new RCBOs will fit on the din rail of the existing consumer unit? Thanks for watching.

Check this thread, from the MCB model numbers this is an old MK Sentry Board

But is there really no way you can replace the Consumer Unit?. It looks Plastic and technically this is practically a board change in all but name since you are replacing all of the protective devices.
