Requirements for drilling holes in joists

Could anyone point me in the right direction for requirements to drilling joists? eg. distance out from end of etc... Have used a guidance sheet before but really dont have the time to trawl google searching for regs.

Glad I rewired my 1st house before the 15th edition at one point there was 40 cables running under the landing floor! From 1.0mm up to 16mm.

You still might be if you jump up and down too much........

Found a good diagram.Nice and easy to understand. Wish me luck explaining this to the plumber tomorrow!
