Hi - just looked at a job to rewire a 3 bed semi detached (Wimpey) house - I'd like to know what people are quoting as I gave what I thought was a reasonable price and they've gone for a much cheaper option which I don't think is possible. Thanks, Rich. :shocked3:

Assuming nothing out of the ordinary accessory wise (2DS per room + normal lighting), I'd reckon on about £2500 (+VAT if chargeable).

Start adding wall lights in the lounge, spotlights in the kitchen (or under cabinet lighting) and it goes up though

Also depends on the age of the house to an extent, some of the old victorian jobbies have extensions on the kitchen with solid (and inaccessible ceilings).

Yep, extras cost more, it's the misses of the house you need to talk to more fully design the system and refine the quote
