I’m looking to finally connect my Ring Hardwired doorbell. The existing bell has 4 wires going to it; two from doorbell and two from transformer at consumer unit.

I’m wondering if you have any advice where the jumper cable needs to go? And to be honest I’m wanting to get rid of the bell so can just connect the wires as obviously the doorbell needs full power so needs to bypass the bell so can just reconnect them.

Has anyone got any suggestions?
