I’m rewiring a bungalow and the owner has asked for a radial for all sockets except the kitchen. But there will be a separate washer and dryer in the circuit. Will a 20A radial be enough?

Yes. The kitchen to be on a ring, and the rest of the house on a radial (except boiler etc)When you say "a radial for all sockets except the kitchen" it implies an RFC for the kitchen, in which case 32A is fine.
Or do you mean a ring (RFC) for all others, and radial for the kitchen? In which case you could do a radial in 4mm and (subject to method) fine for 32A.

Sorry a bit of additional info. The reason for the radial sockets is that he’s doing all the chasing (great) but wants to minimise it because he’s living there during the rewireYes. The kitchen to be on a ring, and the rest of the house on a radial (except boiler etc)
How does it minimise it?Sorry a bit of additional info. The reason for the radial sockets is that he’s doing all the chasing (great) but wants to minimise it because he’s living there during the rewire
One chase per point not per cable and even with rads you're looping.Sorry a bit of additional info. The reason for the radial sockets is that he’s doing all the chasing (great) but wants to minimise it because he’s living there during the rewire
In practice it's likely to be fine, but that's not to say that I'd design it that way.Anyway, the central question is do we think a 20A radial for sockets would be adequate for a bungalow given that the washer and dryer would be on it plus all the other usual loads (kitchen would be on its own rfc)
