Went to a new build today. Been finished 3 months. Rcd was tripping like an 80s rock star. Ended up being a cable that was trapped whilst putting a socket front on. House was a 3 bedroom town house (3 floors) Noticed that the ground floor and first floor sockets were on one ring, and top floor was radial? Seems abit odd.. Cant say ive seen it before. What do you guys think??

Nothing wrong with it, although unusual.

I have just done a few jobs at a 10yr old house and they had the RFC's divided up in half, ie between one side of house and other, top and bottom.

lol ! :D:D:D

More like a 70's rock star aka OZZY OSBOURNE

When my ex and I moved into our house found that the upstairs sockets on a 30Amp fuse went from DB in 4.0mm to a JB then 2.5mm to another JB up to a socket then on to another JB to socket and more sockets wired same way. Needless to say the decotrating went out of window while I rewired sockets

You could interpret some of the regulations to actually ask for this, as they say that a single circuit fault should not cause inconvenience to the end user and as long as the circuit description is accurate, why not?
