ryefield earth

Hi dudes can anyone tell me the size of the bolt for the earth on the side of a ryefield board as i need to order a lug for it through work ? thanks

Depends what size it is, whether a busbar chamber or just a TP&N board, usually to be fair 8mm2 is standard on that type of kit, may be 10mm2, but 8 at a guess.

Fitted one last week and I'm pretty sure it was 8mm and a block in the back of the board as well

i mean the bolt on the side of the board. its quite chunky i think !

Get a M12 and if too big decrease with washers ... these things can have 70+ mm earths on.

TBH at the cost of a few quid just get a couple of different sizes and keep the unused as spares.
