I wonder what is going to happen to the FIT and RHI schemes if we wake up on 19th Sept to find the Yes vote has won.

I was asked this today by a prospective customer.

Just what we need up here......more uncertainty

Very much depends on whether the 40 Labour politicians in Scotland have solar panels and are receiving Fit payments. If they do, you'll all keep it. If they don't, you'll probably all lose it! These 40 people are campaigning for 'NO' because 'YES' puts them out of a job - at last, the West Lothian Question resolved. In my view they should not have been allowed to campaign because their interest, AS ALWAYS, is in themselves, NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT IS BEST FOR SCOTLAND.

it would have to if scotland wanted to rejoin the EU, as it would be illegal under the Eu human rights legislation to deprive someone of their lawful property, with the FITs payments classing as their lawful property.

As they're paid by the energy companies anyway I can't see that there's going to be an issue with it.

Actually thinking about it, the scots have their own FITs legislation anyway, so the transition is pretty simple, they simply need to adopt the existing scots only legislation and continue as is.

According to Nicola and Alec - everything will be better once they are in control, so presumably the FIT rate will be increasing

You would not believe the some of the total b*****ks being spouted up here. One person I know asked their SNP MSP what would happen and was told they would probably increase the FIT rate. This is at a time when we know DECC is going to review the whole scheme in the second half of 2015 and returns are embarrassingly high.

If I asked if there would be free beer, milk and honey, the answer would be of course! God help us if there is a Yes vote, these people couldn't run a bath yet alone a country. None of the fundamental questions on any of the major economic issues have been answered - all we get is wishful thinking.

Never forget it was 11 SNP Westminster MPs who sided with Margaret Thatcher to allow her to win a vote of No Confidence against Jim Callaghan and began the era of her divisive reign. These people are opportunistic rats, and like rats bring the plague.
