I've got a 24v boschammer sds, had it for 5 years and its still going strong, superb drill, it makes mince meat out of anything i put it too

Makita 36v have had serious issues with reliability.
It may be that they have overcome this now but until i hear different i would steer clear.
Would love to hear if anyone has one and if they have had any issues with it

currently doing a 24v sds hammer drill with 2 x 2.0Ah NiMh batts
Makita Site Radio AND 17 Piece SDS Drill set for ÂŁ385.00 inc vat.

Bosch 36v lithium-ion,drill,hammer and chisel, fast charge, you will only need 2 batteries, does it all, very reliable.they are a good ÂŁ500 new, try ebay maybe, but always ask seller why selling, incase they are selling junk/broken,firm im working for have 10 and none have had any bother in 2 years of hard use, just what i have used and i trust it,2 year warrany,no memory on battery cells,li-ion good as can charge any time, years of use.YOU WANT 2.6AH BATTERY AND LEAVE COMPACT VERSION ALONE AS ONLY BABY BATTERY ON THOSE.BOSCH HAS 3 JOULES OF IMPACT ENERGY,NOT SURE ON THE REST,MILWAUKEE SIMILAR I THINK

had the bosch 24v (x3), then the makita 24v (3 amp/hr x2) ).
have to say the bosch is a serious work horse. my no. 1 choice.
lithium iron batterys have upped the cordless game big time but your gonna pay for the "latest and greatest".
is a new drill really worth ÂŁ500 quid? personal choice, at the end of the day but a hole is a hole..... Ni cad, lithium...............bla bla
