hi all,

new to this site and my first forum post. iv just served 12 years in the air force and im currently on the process of getting medically discarged and im looking for some help. iv been doing as much research as i can and im wondering what the best route to get fully qualified as an electricain is. im 29 and iv got no qualifications at present but fortunatly i can get some funding from the forces for training. gonna bang out a few questions and would really approcoate any help you guys can offer.
what are the basic quals you need to start up?

iv seen some training providers who offer c&g 2365 lvl 2+3 full diploma, but i dont see 17th edition regs on there would this
be an additional course id have to complete or is it covered under those courses?

who do you guys recommend doing training with/ work placement?

look forward to your guys repsonses

Hi Mattie, sorry hear about your medivac, nothing serious I hope, If ypo can afford it go the college route and try and find someone to take you as a laborer, I 12 know after 12 years serving you deserve better, have you tried "Help for Heroes" they may be able to point you in the right direction, good luck Mattie hope it works out for you, you never know one of the Lad/Lasses on this illustrious forum may be able to help.
