Out of practise spark here...

With the 17th edition board where its a 5+5 dual rcd, how do you wire a shed now?
If you connect from the mains board to a sub board in shed then theres no point using rcd in the sub board as its already protected at the mains and if you have 2 rcd in parallel then you cant achieve any discrimination so 4 other house circuits go off also.

How do you get around this? Ive never seen a 63*30ma time delay rcd myself and not sure you can use one in this insttance. One way is to fit a extra board via henley block just for the shed. Or maybe shorten thebusbar and have it as a standalone way fed direct from the main switch using a modular rcbo so its seperate but still complies.

Any other suggestions?

Will be armoured to the shed so doesnt really need rcd at the feed afaik so there would then be rcd in the shed sub board.

Earthing is tns

If its not TT system no need to protect with 30m/A RCD, create a spare way after the main switch but before RCD,need to create spare neutral way.

Thought as much. Just wondered how many different ways there are to keep it seperate from others bar the 2 mentioned (seperate board at supply and other beong to create a non rcd way)

Cheers
