should i report this company???

People come on here and complain about unregistered sparks doing bad work - so report them, immediately to the Housing Assocation they are doing the work for. Then you've done your bit.

Haha thats the dilema. Hes a nice guy but just not competant to be doing this work. I said that to him im a nicer way but he seems to laugh it off and take it all as a bit of a joke. Im tempted just to write an annonymous letter to the housing company letting them know that i plan to involve building control and trading standards. Means they are government funded i hope this would shake them into cleaning up their act, maybe having a qualified / experianced electrician working with these 2.

They should sack them both and give the Jobs to a couple of the guys here who are struggling for work I say, I think Mcdonalds are looking for litter pickers at the moment, they should be able to cope with that.

Sima, you don't need us to tell you what the right thing to do is in this situation mate, you know what you have to do.

Where woukd be best to report them? On second thoughts a letter to the association might fall on deaf ears as the tennants at this house had kept a diary, complained, took photos, but have given these 2 another rewire which they started today.

Please please try get pics of their joke installations to post on here.

Even Electrical Trainee don't mess up that bad............(hahaha couldn't hold a straight face saying that)

Start with the housing association but talk to the guy at the top, also try to get the name of one of the tenant board members and tell them about it. If they hum and ha about it tell them you'll involve trading standards and LABC. The housing minister used to be Grant Shapps, don't know if he's still in post though, don't be scared to get the likes of him involved. Then if you're still getting nowhere, The Sun would love it.

I am going to go to the property tomorrow and speak with tennants as they were pushing me to make a complaint in the short time i was their and see if they have any pictures i could attach to my letter. I will report back tomorrow

If they claim to be registered you should report them to their scheme. Alternatively local trading standards. AND obviously the HOUSING ASSOCIATION.

Where in the UK are you? I know people in such associations.

Wonder what else is wrong behind the naked eye...Would love to know how many inter-connections are on their ring/radial/mess

Forget the tenants mate. Don't go there, it will turn round and bite you on the ---.
