Hi guys, got a single phase motor to install tomorrow. Its a Ebara 1.5kw capacitor start capacitor run type. Have fitted single phase motors of this type before however there is more wires at the terminal box of this particular type and not quite sure about the connections.
The terminal box lid has a wiring diagram, no photos im afraid, will try and explain as best i can.
Connector block1- black wire to box marked SE
black wire to running winding
green wire to starting winding
Connector block2- blue wire to starting winding
1 leg to start capacitor
1 leg to other capacitor
blue wire to box marked SE
Connector block3- link to con block 2
white wire to box marked SE
Connection block4- red wire to running winding
2nd leg to other capacitor
red wire to box marked SE
Note start capacitor 2nd leg goes to SE
Its the box marked SE on wiring diagram that im unsure of. think its some kind of electronic switch, maybe it has replaced the centrefugal switch, not really sure.
I think the neutral is connected to block 1 and live to block 4 with reversal achieved by swapping the run windings if needed.
Would be gratful if someone could advise, thanks.
