Small consumer units!!!

Trying to locate a consumser unit under 170mm in height. Needs to be a dual/split board with space for 5 circuits.

When I was looking for a small consumer unit I ended up with one from Doepke UK Ltd, and I used their IP55 enclosure because it was their smallest one, even though this was an indoor installation. Have a look, but I'm not sure they were as small as you're looking for...

When I did my Doepke board mentioned above, I found that the low height consumer unit did not have the headroom to accommodate RCBOs, so I ended up using two standard RCDs and MCBs on a split board even though there were only three (I think) circuits overall!

You won't find a small CU if you want twin RCDs, the only way is RCBOs. Though a 5 way wylex would fit, but lust looked and its slightly bigger than you can do with

Agree with Telectrix, waste of space having two RCDs to spread 5 circuits between if space tight.

And if you can find the small board you require you can get MCB sized RCBOs now - Electrical Components and Equipment Assemblies, inc. basic, passive, marine, etc - ECD UK

When they finally get them in stock. The standard RCBOs from there are not as tall as others anyway, so easier to fit
