Just having a flick through the OSG which has changed a lot with lots of new pretty pictures, feels like its still built to last 5 minutes though

Put these OSG's in a ''ring binder'' or similar, it's what i always did with there flimsy publications!! ..lol!!

I think I will buy a ring binder when I get my new gn3 ready for when it falls to pieces up to now I just selotaped the pages back in.

Staples will cut the spine off and ring bind it for about £4.

If you're going to cut off the spine you could run it through a scanner and make a searchable pdf file then put it on your phone or ithingy.

Also run a copy or two off and keep the original at home. Then keep the copy in the Van, you can do that with all your flimsy ref books.... lol!!!

An HNC is WELL above any sort of JIB grade TBH.

The 2391-20 will gain you a technician grade. HNC is moving in a different direction altogether. All IMO.

how do you find the HNC I sat the 2391-20 twice well once failed the first time and missed my exam earlier this month back on it in 3 weeks!! the HNC is next on my hit list!!!

If you use adobe Acrobat or distiller to create a text pdf then it's searchable. If you file all your pdf regulations in one directory then you can use the search in Adobe reader or full acrobat to search all the regs in directory for certain words or phrases which is also very handy.

The 2391-10 insp & test is needed for Approved Electrician status.

The 2391-20 design & verification in addition to the insp & test will get you Installation Technician status.
