Depends on your cable installation method ... best to stick to 2.5mm with a 16A breaker if you have to wire it as a radial. Circuits only ever get extended & their loadings increased ... usually by kitchen fitters, plumbers, carpenters, bodgers etc so atleast your starting from a decent point.

But the point the lads are making though is for HOW LONG is the circuit just feeding the dvr? Dont forget its about reducing potentials to a minimum....
