I wonder if anyone else has had issues with the Solis inverters? Particularly the smaller Mini range?
I'm having an issue with a Solis Mini 1500 inverter at an installation we carried out a few months ago. Every morning, as the sun rises, the inverter is repeatedly cutting in and out. The clicking of the relays is so loud that it wakes my customers every morning. This goes on for around half an hour and it is driving them mad, as you can imagine.
I'm wondering whether the very low start up voltage (60v) could be the issue? Solis (Ginlong) themselves appear to be virtually impossible to contact. They don't seem to have a UK website and I had great difficulty getting hold of a technical support number. I eventually managed to get hold of a mobile number of a guy who told me I should send him an email. Which I did yesterday but I'm still yet to get any response.
Anyone else had issues? Or similar issues with other low DC start up inverters?
