hi all, would like to split 1 phase (off 3 phase supply big house)after the meter into a henley block and run to a new 100/80 amp isolator(inside meter box) to a new flat(in grounds approx 10 m away.Going to run supply in 25mm swa glanded at each end to new cu.have looked at balance of phases in house pretty much the same.Does this sound ok or am i missing some factors.your opinions much appreciated. ta:D

Is this all being done inside the meter cabinet?

If so why dont you just use 25mm tails as long as the run is under 2m.

If not and your running the cable elsewhere.

Is the property PME?

If not buy yourself some Split Concentric 25mm Copper or Aluminium, buy yourself 2 henley cable heads for terminating it into and do it the proper way. Other wise if you require to rewire the supply to the new meter you will need to pull the supply at the 3phase cable head which unless your authorised by the electricity supplier you shouldnt be doing.

Also check that the loading is adequate for the new supply is for a new flat at even though it aint a huge demand it may overload the HV ring (especially so if this is a heavily populated area)
