I found an old 110v extension lead in the bin room where i live, hooked my speakers up with the flex off of this. Sounds absolutely fine.

6mm single / tri-rate is all I use in an install situation. Just remember that it's two cables to each location!

Lol, no its my turn to be off the booze, I had an 'awkward' wisdom tooth removed on Weds and currently look like a hamster having had to have all sorts of gruesome things done to get the bugger out!! I was merely agreeing and adding weight to the opinion already expressed.
