Yes I have, but you didn't mention that on your 1st post if I recall corectlyThey are push fit connectors with cable grips, so evidently yes they are in a suitable maintenance free box!!

I assume that you are adding 3 extra sockets to the circuit,why don't you install them on the ring.Even how well installed I would try to avoid using j.b's even MF ones under floors.
If you need to ask then I'd (respectfully) suggest you shouldn't be doing electrical work. The suggestion that an EIC or MWIC is dictated by Building Regs is wrong. The two are separate entities. If you do an alteration, addition or new installation you complete the appropriate certificate. Building notification is a separate issue.What a preposterous comment to make!
