Strange meter readings

A quick search on that meter suggests it has an export counter/register. Are possibly there any buttons on the front that you can push to scroll through the import and export registers?

The button appears only to select between standard and economy 7 charged units, my FIT is covered separately via a mobile connection on the inverter output since I had a free installation and the PV provider is gaining the FIT rewards.

What kind of mobile connection? It must be from a meter rather than the inverter itself. I think it would be a good idea if you were to speak to the installer. Explain your concerns and they should come out and set your mind at rest.
