I have installed 2 garage sub mains and not sure how the certificate and testing should be laid out.

First Sub main in garage on 80a RCD with 16a circuit for sockets and second 6a for lights. The board is fed by 4mm swa from 32a on house board. House is TT and seperate rod at garage to make that TT.

Question is on the installation cert for the submain, what goes in characteristics of primary supply device - main cut out fuse or 32a mcb and main switch supply conductors - main 25mm at house board or the 4mm swa at sub main. Or should both be tested and cert'd

Question is on the installation cert for the submain, what goes in characteristics of primary supply device - main cut out fuse or 32a mcb Primary supply device is just that....the service fuse. and main switch supply conductors - main 25mm at house board Again if it's under the heading of primary supply characteristics or details at the origin then it'll be the main switch for the install (60947-3 etc etc) and the supply tails. or the 4mm swa at sub main. Or should both be tested and cert'd

Depending on which certs you use, (if NIC ones) the distribution circuit can go on the top line of a domestic EIC with the garage circuits then underneath or you may need an EIC with a set of continuation sheets (circuit details & test results) for the garage.
