Morning all,

We're having a problem getting a SunnyBoy 1200 started up. The PV array is all plugged up, the AC is getting through but the box won't start.

One thing we've noticed is that the Generation Meter's KWh light is constantly on while its IMP light is constantly off; it's a Landis & Gyr E110

Any thoughts / guidance much appreciated!

Cheers

Thanks. The green light Doesn't come on - nothing happens at all on the inverter..

So the constant red light on the meter is to be expected..?

No Voc right now - but I guess the inverter should still at least turn on?

AC adaptor - looks to be right; Line in 2, neutral in 1, CPC in earth..

P.s. One thing is does mention on the AC connection procedure is to "check the grid voltage and compare it with "Vac" on the type plate" - where is the 'type plate'?

Thanks for your help on this btw!

SunnyBoys won't turn on until there is a trigger DC voltage level present on the input and the 1200 needs 100V. They will stay in sleep mode until that happens. Type plate is usually on the side of the inverter - try reading the manual.

No LEDs indicates input voltage is too low.
