Hi,

a recent PIR has picked up no RCD protection and no supplemantry bonding to pipe work.

Am i correct in saying if all circuits to bathroom are protected by RCD then supplementary bonding is not required?

Not quite true, it depends what type of installation you are talking about, SB is still required in a lot of cases.

If you are talking about domestic bathrooms, then all of these conditions need to be met to omit SB,

1) the final circuits meet the requirements for ADS
2) all final circuits in the location have additional protection by means of an RCD 30mA
3) all extraneous conductive parts of the location are effectively connected to the protective equipotential bonding (main protective bonds) to the MET
