Supporting cables in an escape routes

Hi Guys,

Quick question can you add cables to existing PVC trunking in escape routes without fire proof support if your coming off an existing circuit within the PVC trunking?

Does a hallway in a dwelling class as an escape route for this Reg or is it just shared access escape routes that this Reg covers?

Yes an escape route in a dwelling is an escape route.

Any route which takes you to a place of safety can be defined as an escape route, not just necessarily what is an obvious route.

yes it does .page 30regs a path to follow for access to the safe area in a event of a emergency '
what is saying is nothing will impede you access .like falling cable or any thin else .

Change to pvc conduit and use galvo saddles .

All well and good until someone uses plastic wall plugs. Various self-explanatory metal fixings for plasterboard but not sure what would work well on masonry for attaching saddles etc?
