Hi all,

I have been asked to install a new cooker circuit but the customer wants everything to be surface mounted to keep costs down. Do you know of any cooker connection units that are suitable for surface mounting e.g. have an appropriate back box? Cables will also be surface mounted using plastic conduit?

Many thanks,

M

Sorry Dave I didn't refresh before I posted. I agree, but I'd use that self adhesive tat to hold it in place while I screw it in.

I just find that more fiddly Adam, just as easy to mark fixing lines horizontal or vertical with a level then mark through premade fixing holes in the rear of the trunking onto the lines.

I peel a bit of the backing off and poke it out the side, line it up, then while holding it in place pull all the backing off so it sticks in place, then I can just bosh the holes straight through, poke the rawl plugs in, start the screws off by hand, bang them in with a hammer then finish them off with a screwdriver (or impact driver).

any normal pattress
I was being pedantic, there ain't any off the shelf pattress boxes, with anything other than 200mm knockouts, as far as I'm aware?
yo'll be able to get 4 x 120mm SWA cables in that.
