Hi engine 54, can u offer some evidence to support this?

the regs require , for the most part, that bonding conductors to be at least 10mm ,
but because swa has a resistivity roughly 8 times greater than copper , you would need the swa csa to be at least 80mm2 ( equivolent to 10mm copper ) if that cable were to be used for bonding purposes.
which makes some of the smaller cable swa's acceptable as cpc's but not for bonding.
basically speaking.

And can become considerably more involved when meeting bonding requirements On larger PME and on larger commercial and industrial installations. Many of which the typical domestic 10mm bonding conductors won't come close to complying!! In such cases, a separate full sized conductor is generally the only means of complying, when installing a 4 core (3 ph + N) cable...
