How deep should an SWA cable be buried in the ground to officially comply with regs?
 
522.8.10 page 101 does not give a depth just states sufficient depth to avoid being damaged by any reasonably forseeable disturbance to the ground.

This is the correct answer. Pg 269 Note 1 relates to depth for the values in the tables for soil resistivity.:)

Only depth I can find is in 705.522, pg 185 maybe this contradicts the above.:eek: This is for farms etc. thought cables were always deeper on farms.:confused:

Or will this be ammended in the next issue?
