Hello,

Been to look at job, a barn that's been converted into separate flats. Each one is fed by a 10mm 3C SWA. On peak, off peak and neutral. Currently they just have a double pole main switch for isolation but no protective device. Is there a nice little unit I can use that's designed to deal with something like this? At the moment I thinking of using a 3p&n main switch and then each line on an MCB.

How about a 3P MCB ?
In principle, you have a setup that can overload the neutral if both peak & off peak supplies are in use - a 3P MCB will protect against that as well as L-E faults on either supply.

I take it there's no gas supply obviously but what other main protective bonding conductors are required .

They are shoe box bedsits, 1 storage heater, immersion, cooker, shower.

It's a TNCS

No gas, no oil, plastic water main.

How about a 3P MCB ?

Thanks, that sounds more tidy than my idea.
 
It seems crazy the shower will be the same size as main supply but I suppose you could have a 16mm t and e feeding 11 kw shower due to the instalation method ,glass wool ,volt drop etc with a 16mm split con and 80 amp fuse at service head and you would think nothing of it
