Hi all. Maybe a dumb question to some of you but have never done it before, can,t find a reg that says not. I need to find a way up to the third floor of a property thats being converted to flats to feed that flats consumer unit from a 6oa switch fuse on the ground floor. Was originaly going to go with 16mm t&e and serperate earth inside the building in trunking but the run is really not straight forward. so was thinking armoured in cable tray run up the outside. can anyone see any problems with this that i need to think about. as in no rcd protection to this cable so is armour enough?
