[ElectriciansForums.net] Tattoos have you got any?

Just sitting here half drunk and looked at my arm and wondered how many of us have been inked. Other than that no real reason.

the trouble comes when your sitting there half drunk choosing one :D

i have a tattoo machine here bought a couple of years ago and loads of ink. just got some really cool ink that only shows up under uv lighting that will look brill in the dark :)

I have one or two Tattoo's. 5 of which I'm totally happy with, one which I want lasering away and a sleeve done to cover scarring, and two which I did myself with a homemade setup that need serious reworking. The one I want lasering is a constant reminder of something I'd rather forget, and due to it being dark would not lend itself well to a cover up. I dread to think how much laser removal would come to, but once I'm earning, intend to start saving to get rid of it!
Now, at the time, there is no way on this earth I'd have thought for one second I'd regret it in years to come. So it shows just how sure you need to be about something. I'm stuck with it in plain sight and it brings nothing but bad memories every day. Even if you think a cover up would solve any regrets, it's not always possible, depending on what you have. I've thought about the sleeve that will eventually replace it for a very long time, and it has no emotional relevance to regret in the future. But I learnt a costly lesson with that tattoo.
So as Phil stated, anyone thinking of getting inked, be very sure of what you get, and when you think you're sure, think for longer until you're as certain as you can be that what you have inked into your skin you can live with if things change.

My mrs is 3/4 of the way through the laser removal.
For the size of hers 4 x 3" it is ÂŁ120 / session, around 18 sessions so far!!

Black disappears pretty fast its the colour that is taking the longest, also you need to make sure they have the laser turned right up or it takes more sessions.

Cant get a pic of it right now as its scabby from a recent session.

Thanks for sharing that Mark, I'd be interested to hear how she gets on with this. Does she have any yellow in the Tattoo as I am told this is near impossible to get rid of? I have yellow, black, blue and red. Luckily from the point of view of removal, mostly it is black, hence cover ups are not an option. then after that, red, yellow, blue in order of most ink. I am happy that the remaining yellow would cover very well with the sleeve. My main concern is to get rid totally of the black and red. I'd say size wise it is around the same as your wife's. So looks like I'll be spending a fair bit of dosh to have it rid of. :(

Was thinking of having "Welcome to Jamaica and have a nice day" on my todger in 1/4" high letters but didn't know what to put after it in the rest of the space left.

How's about: " CARLSBERG DON'T DO ADVERTISING SPACE, BUT IF THEY DID THIS WOULD BE THE SMALLEST SPACE IN THE WORLD" ?

;)

i ain't ever had any but the m-i-law has a SS number and blood group tatooed under her left armpit
