I've got a fluke 1652 and i also have problems with continity testing. I had a NICIEC inspection about a month ago and the inspector said he finds alot of problems with fluke. I had my tester re-calibrated and new batteries put in but can still get dodgy readings. You might have a lead problem but i've found that if you clamp the conductors between the flat bit on the lead and the teeth on the croc you'll have a bit more joy. Im saving for a megger set.
