Hi can any one please tell me how much of a domestic property needs to be testes to comply with current regulations?

Where as the op gone, got to be my biggest gripe ever.
They ask for help then disappear without having the courtesy of a reply.
 
Thank you guys for showing interest in my original post... I did reply Friday evening but for some reason it never quite made it!! Unfortunately I have limited access to internet at the moment so aren't able to get on here as often as you lot.
I was given a job sheet to carry out an EICR on a rented property which was due to be let. I wanted to know if the regs give an allowed percentage of a final circuit to be tested and under what circumstances. For instance.. A kitchen ring made up of 7 sockets and 5 spurs some if which are hard to get to. I carry out my end to end and insulation testing at the fuse board but then need to obtain my R1+R2 reading. Do I need to test every outlet including all spurs or does the regs give an allows percentage to be tested? Same with lighting... Do I need to take down every light and undo every light switch to test and inspect?
