Discuss testing in the Periodic Inspection Reporting & Certification area at ElectriciansForums.net

Anyone who is considered competent enough in testing and inspection will also know the market is tough and the larger companies have ruined it the same way PAT was. But if there was any work to sustain a company you would be a fool to concentrate on the sole domestic market.

Dont c da dif with a periodic & a CU change realy , The regs if you follow them allow sampling before you would even attempt a cu change and WoW how many pre C1s you get latley ? , I find them doin just minors testing for earths to class 1 light switches fails are top of my list of C1s, and finding fake certs for CU changes from screwbits second . By the time you have done , i would take what hands on installer guy finds & fixes top ov my list of advisories than a independant EICR any day

You would have thought they'd have a switch to flick on and off to engage an override. Not on each PIR but an actual light switch
