To be fair, he's spoiled rotten and soft as a brush, he's proper affectionate and loving...........but the local chavs don't know that and they are all petrified of him, and when he's sat looking out of the front window, at 8.5 stone of pure muscle, he really does look the part, we get the best of both worlds , a fantastic family pet and a brilliant deterrent. I had the my van well and truly keyed from front to back, I was so hacked off i wasn't going to let it go, luckily for me I reported it to a young WPC who also wanted to catch them, there was no CCTV cameras in the area but there was a camera which monitored the tram, I was shocked to see the damage was done by a well to do women in her 50's who had previously complained to me that she "didn't want to see my van blocking her view from her holiday home window", I told her to sling her hook as I lived there and she should pish off back to Middlewich , anyway the camera showed her keying the van and then going into the house, when the WPC told me I posted a letter through her door telling her we had the evidence and that I had outed her to all the neighbours and gave her a chance to reimburse me fully,I copied her quote which was for a full respray of one side and new sign writing - £490..she paid and sold up

Cheers M8 I hope I catch them, the CCTV and new alarm went in yesterday and I have the alarm linked to my phone and the CCTV on alien which is an app on my Iphone and Ipad so I can watch my house anywhere, one small teething problem at the moment the camera watching the back garden has moisture in it and they are returning tommorrow to replace it, otherwise everything is wonderful and I was just rewinding my hard drive and looking at the house today, I even saw the postman and bin men today and it works a treat, I will get the little Beggars next time, touch wood there won't be a next time though.

The trick is how to do it without leaving any evidence. It must look as if the thieve just had a dodgy ticker.

Fit a limit switch on the cap to an intrinsically safe relay then wire a 12 sound bomb to it which has a secret switch in van.....

For added effect dont use intrinsically safe relay although deisel is a bugger to ignite even fumes ...

Its just a shame we can't defend our transport like we can our family and home.... well officer he saw me and fell over and broke his leg..what cricket bat?
