Discuss Things an Electrician would never say in the Electricians Chat - Off Topic Chat area at ElectriciansForums.net

If you didn't want me looking down your top you shouldn't have worn one so low-cut. Anyway, I'd better get back to screwing them boxes.

Ah-h-h, yes sir! Unfortunately your foolproof system didn't take into account the ingenuity of a fool.

your previous electrician was a genius. he's managed to run a 32A ring main off a 5A fuse. oops, it's a bit of 1.5 stripped.

Did I just hear the dinner bell going? Sorry, I was playing bingo with the nurses and discussing the difference between a ring main and a ring main final. I win, any old fool can tell you that. (everyone that's online now will find that funny. Calm down Bill) :):):)

I can see that becoming the forum slogan at this rate, lol!

Calm down, Bill.

Is a heart rate of 190 beats a minute normal when you're not plugged into the mains?

I'm exaggerating, though it is consistently high, despite trying to relieve the pressure with a heart attack mid 2009!

Ok let's get back to this thread.

Of course you can plug as many extentions has you like in your bedroom to "play your games". Let me just check that you have 26amp sockets running on 250 volts. Yep all present and correct, you can insert your 3 inch floppy and enjoy yourself.

Lol... If you can't wire the shower from the bathroom light, do you think that I'd get away with using bell wire for the cooker?

Of course I'll wire your shower safely... I'll run the cable in copper pipe!

Call yourself an electrician! Running the shower from copper pipes is expensive, you have to run it from a 3 pin plug from the socket just next to the bath.;););)
