Just sitting here and thought of this. New combi boilers. What size cable do you run for them? Been putting them on a thier own separate radial circuit for years but I automatically run 2.5mm but I guess a 1.5mm is fine these days as only a 3amp is needed on the old fuse spur. Anyone else install things out of habit that’s now over kill?

I have a large tupperware box, with a mixture of nuts in it,for snacking,or adding to me lunch box...

The other week,i added dried banana slices,to it.

I don't care,who finds out.

If you add raisins to it mate then I'll nick it off you.. :)

In fairness though that's at least partially due to the fact that wholesalers here don't stock 1mm^2 cable!
I thought that because in all honesty I have never seen anyone install it
Quite a diverse electrician then Matthew?
it's just not something we come across here very often

plain or self-locking? with or without washers?

It's ludicrous when you think about it, a Combi [or system] boiler probably runs at around 1 amp if that [maybe double with additional pumps] and 1mm on a 6a MCB is more than adequate yet we can't do that according to the regs. What about conserving resources eh ?
