Have a close look at the mains tails that looks like brown live conductor fed into the neutral terminal of which them old wylex fuseboards are not DP isolated i know that because i once got a nasty belt isolating a shower switch some clown reversed polarity on the fuseboard

Wylex boards were DP isolated, I’ve stripped enough of them to know.
If you can’t tell the difference between brown and black then I’d start getting worried.

I would say that the L/H sheathed tail is black, but my eyes and this computer do leave a lot to be desired, plus the white balance is all to pot on the pic, probably an old tungsten lamp to blame there!

Mind if it was reverse polarity, with the DIY TN-C connection at the board, then the DNO fuse should have gone bang a long time ago, or else the link.

My boss and i see quite a lot of these with no sleaving on cpcs...which tends to follow around the whole install........

Ok ive been shot down with flames but you enlarge the picture that tail is not so distinctively black as the outgoing neutrals

The badly made off incoming tail in the photo is black.....very poor on the IP n all at the top of the board............

Because they don't care, or perhaps more worryingly they know no better because they have not been adequately trained...
