Well guys I think it is time I bow out, I have had some fun on here and have seen some great threads, even though I haven't really asked for help with anything it as been a useful place to be part of.
over the last few months some of the threads have made my teeth itch, and I honestly find it scary with some of the things that get asked on here, by people who are charging people for a service that in all honesty they are not capable of doing but are getting away with it.
I am not aiming this at anyone in particular and sorry if I offend anyone it is not my intention.
so keep fighting the fight and all the best. thanks to all who made me welcome.
Regards Glenn. :seeya::seeya:

It isn't the forum I have a problem with as this is a great place to hang around in even if it is just to see Glennspark getting himself into hot water or MDJ ripping some one a new backside. It just kills me to see people asking basic questions that they should no, and I know everyone needs to learn but not as a self employed person charging customers.
I will give you an example! today I picked my new mft up from the wholesalers I went with the megger 1730 / Bluetooth software all whistles .
and a lad next to me who I know Is a Electrical Trainee and sole trader pipes up that I must be doing a lot of testing to warrant one at that cost and I lost the plot with him, while trying to explain that yes I test every day the same as everyone should do as part of the job. I just wonder how many don't bother. these are the silly things that of soul destroying.
Stick with it bud, stick with it.

yep very true, I don't like the "tap off a shower circuit" threads or the "do I need to have rcd protection in the kitchen I am wiring up" threads or the "I am part p qualified threads", it is very frustrating.
Mike...i`m tired of it...

i suppose i really shouldn`t be looking in there (RCD threads)...its just when i sees someone i know who has replied to it...then i just have to have a look....see what they`v scribbled down...

GMES - i aren't tryna sound like a ----- here...

But shyte like this really annoys me, if you're gonna go just go instead of the soppy speech.

I'm obviouslly not saying go, the more sparks around here with experience the better. I aren't having a go at you - you seem like a decent lad, i've just seen a few threads like this...with people giving goodbye speeches - just do what you gotta do man.

Mark I wasn't going for the heart wrenching goodbye speech, I was simply being courteous as I like a lot of members on here and thought I would have the decency to say goodbye rather than just disappearing. no offence taken bye the way

The latest craze here by some DIYers suggesting feeding fans and shavers off shower cables is even more worrying, even worse is the fact they are asking what the problem is, I haven't known the trade so low, it has to improve surely?

to the OP:

rite punch time...as i`m not into weepy shyte

IN...or...OUT

come on...makey mindy upitimey

well I cant back down now so in the words of dragons den I'm out.

Each to their own, different styles i suppose. I'd just go if it was me, but, i understand.

All the best whatever you decide.

the economy is on the mend....

banks are lending again

the housing market is improving

job growth is on the up

the point i`m making Mike is that it takes sometimes to stoop to new lows....in order to come back....

but its up to us....

up to us....

Respect due for manners alone, even though i am either a Mancunian or a Lancastrian.....we need as many Yorkshire men as we can get.....remember what happens on site if a man jacks,as soon as the cabin door bangs shut....he gets most of the slaggin' and all of the blame! anyway,Good Luck fella.
