Well guys I think it is time I bow out, I have had some fun on here and have seen some great threads, even though I haven't really asked for help with anything it as been a useful place to be part of.
over the last few months some of the threads have made my teeth itch, and I honestly find it scary with some of the things that get asked on here, by people who are charging people for a service that in all honesty they are not capable of doing but are getting away with it.
I am not aiming this at anyone in particular and sorry if I offend anyone it is not my intention.
so keep fighting the fight and all the best. thanks to all who made me welcome.
Regards Glenn. :seeya::seeya:

Talking of sticking around who is the oldest serving member on the forum, just curious that's all.
Not sure about that Tel has the highest post count and is probably the most respected, Geordie is probably the oldest along side tel haha, and the funniest guy on the forum but the actual member who has been registered the longest is a good question, one for the team I suspect. Not sure how long E54 and Tony have been here either tbh.

Right I am staying sorry for the wobble and I really really wasn't being a drama queen or after attention, I just despair at the state of our industry and obviously I suppose when we are all in here it is in your face all the time.
but sorry again I will man up shut up and get on with it. there are far more good guys than bad ones on here.

Good man! I'm sorry for my blunt outburst, it's the yorkshire in me lol.

Yes Mike I meant who as been a member the longest , not who was the biggest coffin dodger

here summat else:

check:

got to this place in town today where there was this circuit that i identified as a ring final with a 32C in the sub panel

here:

one of the council electricians had told this fella that he could only have 3 of these 2500W resistive loads on at once..or it would trip the breaker...lolffs

got in there...staggered startup...got 5 of em all runnin...

guess what:

highest i got was 21.5A after they had warmed up nicely

showed the council `electrician`..he didn`t like it...

explained to him a bit about diversity...again he didn`t like it..

hard lines dichead....lol..

told the client its good for 8...(staggered startup)
